Nathan Roy is an associate attorney in the Washington workers’ compensation practice group. Nathan earned a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in both Criminal Justice & Public Policy and Sociology at the University of Guelph in 2019. While completing this degree, Nathan gained legal experience interning for a boutique law firm which solidified his dream of practicing law.
Nathan later attended the law schools of the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy where he received Canadian and American Juris Doctor degrees. During his time in law school, Nathan helped start Michigan’s only Arts and Entertainment Law Clinic partnering with the City of Detroit to promote arts and culture.
Drawn to a practice at the intersection of law, business, and medicine, Nathan brings a balanced, interdisciplinary perspective to his work. He began his career in Washington workers’ compensation on the claimant side, developing a strong foundation in advocacy and a comprehensive understanding of the system. This experience enables him to view matters from multiple perspectives and design creative, practical solutions tailored to the specific needs of his clients.
