Kevin E. Domanico

Senior Associate

Overview

With visions of writing hard-hitting reports, investigating leads, and long nights editing copy, Kevin left his small town in the hills of the Southern Tier of Upstate New York for the flatlands of Indiana. There, he learned about the importance of perseverance, determination, and timing as he celebrated his graduation into a world struggling against economic collapse. After years of struggle in an industry that was firing, not hiring, he accepted a generous offer to return to Indiana for law school. Once again crossed through those Sample Gates looking for a brighter future. During law school, Kevin took advantage of his opportunities. He served as treasurer of the Student Bar Association, edited two law journals, participated in Moot Court, became a finalist in the Transactional Law Meet, volunteered in a law clinic, and gave weekly presentations on the law to fifth graders. When free time could be found, it was spent cheering the Hoosiers’ basketball team to back-to-back Sweet Sixteens and the football team to records best left in the past.

After graduation, Kevin took his wife and newborn across the country to the promised land of Oregon. There, he began working as a workers’ compensation attorney which continues to this today.

I believe in customization and meeting people where they are. I work with clients to develop a litigation strategy consistent with their needs, attitudes, and skillsets. We will achieve your goals together whether you value a high-contact collaborative approach or an independent attorney working for you behind the scenes. From the first report to final closure, I will carry your case with attention and care.

A winning culture is a mindset created by avoiding self-imposed limitations, staying focused on the here and now, and controlling the controllables. This means preparing the right way, developing a plan and a process, and having the right people to execute consistently to meet every challenge as it comes.

Proper preparation comes from effective, efficient, and effortful information gathering and synthesis. Knowledge, of the facts and the law, is power. Having both opens new avenues for creative thought and unique approaches to problem-solving, when needed. I provide clients with the knowledge they need and the framework for using their knowledge to make educated and intelligent decisions.
