I believe that client communication is the most important aspect of the client/attorney relationship. In order to have clear communication with the client, I believe in making myself accessible to them and responsive to their needs. I also believe in thoroughly researching cases so that I can clearly convey the best legal advice to my clients and work with them to develop a strategy to best defend their cases.

Amber Kolsrud is a litigation attorney with the firm’s Washington practice group. She started off her legal career working as a criminal defense attorney in eastern Oregon before transitioning to criminal prosecution in western Oregon, where she gained over a decade of legal experience.
Amber earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at Willamette University before going on to study law at the University of Oregon, where she obtained her juris doctor in 2009. While at the University of Oregon she gained legal experience through a clerkship at the Lane County District Attorney’s Office and through participating in the school’s Domestic Violence Clinic.
Amber is an avid reader and makes it her mission to read as many novels as possible in her free time.
