Overview

Aimee E. Harvey is an associate attorney in the Washington workers’ compensation practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Aimee worked as an associate attorney for a Seattle law firm specializing in maritime law and workers’ compensation defense. While there, Aimee worked with employers and insurance carriers to defend workers’ compensation claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act.

Aimee earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona in 2019. While working on her degree, Aimee gained practical experience in the healthcare field by interning with Covenant Medical Center and Sister Jose Women’s Center.

Aimee later attended law school at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and graduated with a certificate in Trial Advocacy. There, she was an associate editor for the Law Journal for Social Justice and wrote on topics related to disability policy and LGBTQ+ issues. During her time at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Aimee also interned with the Maricopa County Office of the Public Defender, a criminal defense firm, and a business law and estate planning firm.

At the heart of my approach to workers’ compensation is an unwavering commitment to serve and protect my clients. As an attorney, I view workers’ compensation claim defense as a collaborative effort between counsel and client that bridges the realms of law and healthcare.  I approach client representation with a holistic approach to problem-solving, ensuring a thorough examination of the claim and medical history, potential developments in the claim, and strategic guidance for the client’s best path forward.

My commitment to my clients extends beyond just good strategy – I also prioritize open communication and keeping my clients involved throughout the entire process. My ultimate goal is to ensure my clients feel heard while also obtaining a resolution that aligns with their goals.
