Solodky provides insight in the Portland Business Journal
Shareholder Brian Solodky opines that technology will not match an experienced attorney in the practice of law.
In the February 2, 2018, Portland Business Journal article, “Oregon law firms grow business, but not jobs,” Brian said, “There have been reports of computer programs employing artificial intelligence to complete tasks traditionally performed by attorneys. While I appreciate the potential cost savings in limited applications, removing the human element from the practice of law comes with great peril. I do not foresee an AI program ever matching the insight and intuition of an experienced attorney.”
The article was featured in a special section ranking Portland Metropolitan-area law firms.
