Lawrence Van Daley

Associate

Overview

Lawrence Van Daley is a litigation associate representing Washington-based clients in all aspects of workers’ compensation matters. Prior to joining Reinisch Wilson PC, Lawrence practiced for several years in a busy Tacoma area workers’ compensation firm representing claimants. This unique aspect aids Lawrence in assisting his current clients. He is admitted to practice in the State of Washington.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Lawrence had a long successful career in the US Army. Lawrence joined the US Army after high school where he obtained his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University while fulfilling his full-time military duties. During this time, he was able to travel the globe and explore exciting new cultures. After years of military service, he decided to retire from Joint Base Lewis McChord and call the Pacific Northwest home. Once retired, Lawrence went on to attend and graduate from Seattle University school of Law in 2017. While in law school he served on the Executive Board along with being Research and Technical Editor for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice and worked as Rule 9 intern for the busy Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in the Civil Division.

My approach to my work and my clients has been shaped by my experiences in the military. I learned there is no substitute to preparation, diligence, and a desire to do what is right. During my time in the military, incredible emphasis was placed on attention to detail. The smallest detail, if overlooked, could cause an otherwise successful mission to fail. I bring this same diligence with me in serving my clients.

I love to travel and visit new places. I want to one day spend an extended time visiting Central to Eastern Europe such as Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, even Ukraine to visit all the historical sites that are not as popular as Western Europe.
